The President Turned On The BBM BLT In Bandarlampung
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to review the distribution of Cash Direct Assistance (BLT) for the transfer of fuel oil subsidies (BBM) at the post office in Bandarlampung, Saturday, September 3. According to an official statement from the Presidential Secretariat, in addition to reviewing the distribution of BBM BLT, Jokowi will also hand over other social assistance to beneficiaries.
In addition, Jokowi is also scheduled to greet and hand over work capital assistance and other social assistance to market traders and street vendors at Pasir Gintung Market, Bandarlampung.
Saturday afternoon, Jokowi and First Lady Iriana are scheduled to take off again to Jakarta using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft from Radin Inten II International Airport.
Also accompanying on a visit to Bandar Lampung were Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and Investment Minister/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia.
BLT BBM is one of the social assistance packages after diverting the fuel subsidy. The government has budgeted social assistance for the transfer of fuel subsidies of Rp. 24.17 trillion.
In addition to BLT, in a limited meeting Monday (29/8), the Government agreed on two other forms of social assistance from the transfer of fuel subsidies, namely wage subsidy assistance of Rp600 thousand to 16 million workers with a maximum salary of Rp3.5 million per month.
Then, assistance from local governments using 2 percent of the general transfer funds, namely General Allocation Funds and Revenue Sharing Funds of Rp2.17 trillion, in order to help the transportation sector, such as public transportation, motorcycle taxis, fishermen, and additional social protection assistance.
