Ganjar Pranowo's Drum Prize For Farel Prayoga Done In Less Than 24 Hours

BANYUWANGI - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo sent a complete set of drums for Farel Prayoga. And look at what Farel did after receiving the drum delivery or often called the ketipung.

The drum was sent directly to Farel's house in Sumberjo Hamlet, Kepundungan Village, Srono District, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, Wednesday, August 31 night.

Farel seemed to accept the gift with joy. Accompanied by his father, mother, and family, Farel opened the drums one by one and then assembled them.

Farel looks impatient to play it soon. He hit the drums one by one with a laugh.

After that, Farel was in action. He sang the song 'Ojo Dibandingke' by Abah Lala to the accompaniment of a gift drum from Ganjar.

To the team that sent the drums, Farel also left a message for the Governor of Central Java.

A Golkar politician said that when 'Ojo Dibandingke' echoed at the Palace, the National Police Chief seemed to be dancing but with a blank stare. Read more here.

"Hello Mr. Ganjar, thank you very much, I hope you have a smooth and healthy journey, amen," said the student at SDN 2 Kepundungan, Srono, Banyuwangi.

The drum prize started when Farel met Ganjar who was in Banyuwangi to inaugurate the Branch Manager for the Gajahmada Alumni Family (Kagama).

After the meeting, Ganjar asked Farel what gift he wanted. Farel replied that he had always wanted to learn drums but never got around to it.

From there, Ganjar ordered a set of drums from the craftsman Noles Ai from Sukoharjo.

Ganjar advised Farel to continue to hone his talents and develop his talents. "This child has extraordinary talent, plus he has a very good mentality. With the right guidance, I am sure he will succeed," he said.

Ganjar also hopes that the drum given by him can make Farel a complete musician. "Yes, singers are musicians, the more complete the skills you have, the better for your musical career. Of course, education should not be abandoned, now he is accompanied by teachers for homeschooling everywhere, I think this is good," said Ganjar.

The drum or familiarly called ketipung is a mandatory musical instrument for the dangdut genre. Ganjar ordered it from craftsman Noles Ai whose work shop is in Kunden Village, Bulu District, Sukoharjo Regency.

Danil Lestari, the owner of Noles Ai, said that the drum craftsman ordered by the number one person in Central Java was done in less than 24 hours.

"We got an order from Mr. Ganjar suddenly, and it must be done as soon as possible, so we are working on it fast but with precision so that it sounds good," he said.

The order, he continued, initially came by telephone. Then there is the staff who come to the place to convey the details of the order. And, he was asked to complete an order for a set overnight.

"So someone who came here said he asked for an order, he didn't know who it was for, but from Mr. Ganjar, he wanted it to be given to Mas Farel or what was going viral," he said.

At first, Danil was hesitant about the deadline. However, because of the Governor's message, he was sure he could complete the 6 types of drums.
