Part Of Balanced Nutrition, Milk Can Increase Immunity
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Center for Nutrition and Health Studies at the University of Indonesia, Ir. Ahmad Syafiq, M.Sc, Ph.D. said that regularly drinking milk can help increase endurance.
"There are many factors that affect the function of the immune system, one of which is the nutritional intake, the correlation is even quite significant between this immune and nutritional system," Ahmad said in a press release received by Antara, Sunday, August 28.
The fulfillment of balanced nutrition, he said, is sufficient and optimal to support the formation of immune cell functions or strengthens the immune system, which not only allows them to start an effective response to various exposures or pathogenic attacks but also results in a rapid recovery process to avoid other inflammations.
"Milk as part of a balanced nutrition is a source of food rich in essential nutrients for both growth and endurance," said Ahmad.

Milk contains various macro and micronutrients, vitamins, and minerals that make it not only one of the best sources of animal protein such as essential amino acids, but Vitamin A, and D3 contained in milk function to support the body's protection from cell damage and be effective against exposure or infection.
