Godok Raperda Islamic Boarding School, Ganjar Pranowonilai Peduli Santri Dan Ulama
Central Java - Governor Ganjar Pranowo and the Central Java Regional House of Representatives (Central Java) are still working on a draft regional regulation (Raperda) on Islamic Boarding Schools. Volunteers for the Santri Supporting Ganjar (SDG) consider this proof that Ganjar cares about students and scholars.
"Ganjar pays close attention to Islamic boarding schools with the Raperda regarding facilitation and synergy in organizing Islamic boarding schools, so that students can later be more qualified and competitive in facing the outside world," said Yogyakarta SDG Regional Coordinator Ijtihadul Umam in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Sunday, August 28.
According to him, Ganjar is known to really support religious moderation and pay attention to the quality of pesantren education.
In leading, he said, Ganjar always embraced the pesantren, from students to scholars.
In fact, he continued, Ganjar's concern for Islamic boarding school education was very prominent with concrete steps in fighting for the preparation of the Raperda.
Seeing this concern, Umam mentioned hundreds of students, ulama, and the people of Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) expressed support for the "Ganjar Presiden 2024" movement. This support was declared at the "Gebyar Sholawat and Joint Prayers" event initiated by SDG volunteers.
"Gebyar Sholawat is an effort to the afterlife, because of the physical efforts we carry out agendas with pesantren safaris, there are MSME assistance, then the taklim assembly friendship, Friday the blessings of sharing, and the safari of ustadz kiai figures," he said.
The leadership of the Nur Thoha Islamic Boarding School, KH. M. Sujadi Abdul Majid said, gave full support to Ganjar Pranowo. Ganjar's closeness and attention to ulama and Islamic boarding schools touched him. Ganjar will bring Indonesia forward.
According to him, Ganjar is a leader who is loved by his people. The arrow of love is emitted through his populist, firm, just, authoritative, and anti-corruption attitude.
"He is a good person, proven by two terms liked by the people of Central Java. This means not just his appearance, but indeed his character is good, especially when he is close to the students, he can automatically hang out with each other," he said.
