Standing On BUMD Lands, Jokowi Opens The Possibility Of Revitalizing The Cicaheum Market Bandung
JABAR - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) reviewed the condition of Cicaheum Market upon arrival in Bandung. During the working visit (kunker), Jokowi opened the possibility of revitalizing Cicaheum Market if needed.
According to Jokowi, this needs to be explored further, because Cicaheum Market is one of the traditional markets whose land ownership is under the Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD).
"Earlier, I asked the Governor (West Java), Mr. Mayor (Bandung) about this market, if it is necessary to build it, we are ready to build it, but indeed this land belongs to BUMD, so that the government helps to BUMD earlier. I offered to wake up," said Jokowi on the sidelines of a series of visits at Cicaheum Market, Sunday, August 28.
Jokowi's arrival at Cicaheum Market in order to start his series of work in West Java (Jabar). Arriving at Cicaheum Market at around 9.21 WIB, Jokowi also handed over direct cash assistance (BLT) for participants of the Family Hope Program (PKH).
The Head of State also provides working capital assistance (BMK) for market traders and street vendors for additional business capital.
"This morning I am the same as in other provinces, providing basic food assistance to PKH beneficiaries and also providing additional business capital, additional working capital, to traders in the market, to street vendors," he said.
Also accompanying the President on a visit to Cicaheum Market were First Lady Iriana Jokowi, Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, and Mayor of Bandung Yana Mulyana.
