The Official Red And White Order Was Opened, The Flag Arak Mass Ran A Length Of 1,700 Meters From The Palace To The HI Roundabout

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially opened the Red and White Order this morning. The event was held from the Merdeka Palace to the HI Roundabout, Central Jakarta.

Jokowi was seen waving the small flag he was holding as a symbol of the inauguration of the event.

"I, together with the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit and Habib Luthfi, read Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I declare today's activity is that the Red and White Order will depart," said Jokowi at the Merdeka Palace, Sunday, August 28.

According to VOI monitoring at the location, the crowd moved from the direction of the Palace into the National Monument (Monas) carrying a 1,700 meter long flag.

They compactly wore a white t-shirt that reads 'Ryub the Red and White Flag' while singing the anthem Indonesia Raya while unfurling the Red and White flag.

The band's marching convoy also enlivened the event.
