File An Appeal, Commission III Of The House Of Representatives Believes That The Decision Of The National Police To Dismiss Ferdy Sambo Disrespectfully

JAKARTA - The suspect in the premeditated murder of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J, Ferdy Sambo, has filed an appeal after being dishonorably discharged from the Police.

The decision to dishonorably discharge (PTDH) was after Ferdy Sambo underwent an ethics trial at the National Police Headquarters on Thursday, August 25.

Related to this, Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Ahmad Sahroni, said that it was Ferdy Sambo's right to appeal the results of the ethics trial that decided the disrespectful dismissal or PTDH to the former Head of the Propam Division. The filing of a valid appeal is only made by FS.

"The right to appeal FS is legitimate," said Sahroni to reporters, Friday, August 26.

However, even though Ferdy Sambo filed an appeal, the chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives from the NasDem faction believes that the National Police will still hold fast to the initial decision, namely dishonorable dismissal or PTDH.

"I believe that PTDH will still be the final decision. The decision of the Police, I believe that PTDH will remain with the person concerned," said Sahroni.

It is known that the suspect in the premeditated murder of Brigadier J, Ferdy Sambo, filed an appeal regarding the decision of the ethics trial which dismissed him dishonorably from the Police.

The appeal was conveyed by Ferdy after the decision on his dismissal was read by the Professional Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) at the TNCC Building at the South Jakarta Police Headquarters, Friday, August 26, early in the morning.

"Please allow the Chairperson of KKEP, how do we convey it in the trial process, we admit all our actions and regret all the actions we have done to the Polri institution," said Sambo.

"But we ask for permission in accordance with Article 69 of PP No. 72 of 2022, allow us to file an appeal," he continued.
