Pasar Kaget Slipi In West Jakarta Burned: 3 Kiosks Scorched, No Casualties
JAKARTA - The West Jakarta and Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (PKP) have deployed 11 fire engines to deal with fires that hit a number of shophouses in Pasar Kaget Slipi, West Jakarta, Wednesday night, August 24.
Fires hit a number of shop houses in the Pasar Kaget area, KS Tubun 3 Street, RT01/04, Slipi, Pal Merah, West Jakarta.
"Three low-rise market stalls burned down," said the firefighters picket officer, Abdul Syukur, quoting Antara, Wednesday, August 24.
Abdul Syukur said that initially, officers received reports from the public about a fire incident at 21:17 WIB.

Based on the report, the firefighters immediately came to the location to extinguish the fire.
The process of extinguishing the fire began at around 21:27 WIB, then officers were able to localize the fire at around 21:40.
Thankfully, the cause of the fire has yet to be ascertained. He just made sure there were no casualties in this incident.
"The only thing that caught fire was a shop containing clothes. There were no casualties because there was no activity in the market during the fire," he said.
