Mrs. Iriana Jokowi And Wury Estu Compactly Review Cervical Cancer Early Detection Services In Tangerang

JAKARTA - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo together with Vice President Ma'ruf Amin's wife, Wury Estu Handayani, and members of the Solidarity Action Organization for the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet Era reviewed early detection services for cervical cancer in Tangerang Regency, Banten Province today.

The First Lady spoke with the examination participants and asked some questions while reviewing the acetic acid visual inspection (IVA) service for early detection of cervical cancer in about 100 female workers at PT KMK Global Sports.

"IVA examination every year?" asked the First Lady.

"Once a year," answered Yohana, one of the women waiting for her turn to undergo an IVA examination, quoted from Antara.

VIA examination for early detection of cervical cancer or cervical cancer is carried out periodically every five years if the first examination result is negative and once a year if the first examination result is positive.

The First Lady also explained that the Era Solidarity Action Organization (OASE) for the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet was again carrying out social activities related to character care and education, improving the quality of health, social and culture, clean Indonesia, and green Indonesia.

"Usually we from field 1 to field 5 have activities together, but with the pandemic we only specialize in activities per field, because the group must be small, it can't be this much," he said.
