RDP For The Murder Of Brigadier J, National Police Chief: Strong Ma'ruf Had Time To Escape
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo revealed that the driver of the former Head of the Propam Division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Strong Ma'ruf, had wanted to run away when he was named a suspect in the murder of Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.
"Brother Strong was about to run away, but he was arrested and arrested," said the National Police Chief before Commission III of the DPR during a hearing or RDP at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 24.
Strong has been named as a suspect in the premeditated murder of Brigadier J with Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E on August 7, 2022.
The two became suspects after Bharada E gave his written statement to the special team of the National Police regarding the chronology from Magelang to the location where Brigadier J was killed in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta.
The information later included in the BAP also includes the confession of Bharada E shooting Brigadier J on orders from Inspector General Ferdy Sambo (FS).
"On August 9, 2022, we announced the determination of brother FS as a suspect in the shooting of the late J, which at that time was carried out by Richard on the orders of Ferdy Sambo," said the National Police Chief.
In the case of the premeditated murder of Brigadier J, apart from Strong, Bharada E and Ferdy Sambo, the Police have also named two other suspects.
The two suspects are Bripka Ricky Rizal, and Putri Chandrawathi or the wife of Ferdy Sambo.
