Government Raises IDR 12.1 Trillion From State Sharia Securities Auction
JAKARTA - The government scooped up funds worth Rp. 12.1 trillion from the auction of state sukuk or State Sharia Securities (SBSN) on August 23, 2022 with an incoming bid of Rp. 28.54 trillion.
The Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance (DJPPR Ministry of Finance) in an official statement, quoted from Antara Wednesday, August 24, reported that the auction was conducted for six series, namely SPNS07022023, PBS036, PBS003, PBS030, PBS029, and PBS033 through the Bank Indonesia auction system.
Most of the funds received were recorded in the PBS033 series, which was IDR 5.1 trillion from the IDR 6.99 trillion incoming offer, with a weighted average yield of 7.28 percent.
Meanwhile, the highest entry bid was in the PBS036 series, which was Rp. 8.42 trillion and was won by funds worth Rp. 4.05 trillion with a weighted average yield of 5.7242 percent.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Finance's DJPPR recorded a series with the other largest nominal amount won, namely PBS030 of Rp1.5 trillion from the incoming bid of Rp4.33 trillion, with a weighted average yield won of 6.597 percent.
From the PBS003 series, the government reaped Rp1.25 trillion in funds from Rp2.79 trillion in bids, with a weighted average yield of 6.49 percent won.
Then from the PBS029 series auction, Rp200 billion was won from the Rp4.78 trillion bid, with a weighted average yield of 7.19482 percent.
However, from the SPNS07022023 auction, the government chose not to raise funds even though there was an incoming bid of IDR 1.2 trillion.
