Assessed As A Leader Who Maintains Integrity And Peace, KSAD Dudung Was Awarded The Title Of Kakah Demong Agung Bela Negara
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman was awarded the customary title of the indigenous people of East Kalimantan 'Kakah Demong Agung Defending the State' or the great leader of the defender of the state.
The awarding of the customary title was symbolically carried out by Aji Muhammad Jamawi as Sultan Muhammad Alamsyah III of the Paser Sultanate during Dudung's working visit to North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan, Monday, August 22.
According to Jamawi, the awarding of the customary title is a form of respect for Dudung as a leader who can maintain the integrity and security of the nation and state.
On the same occasion, Dudung expressed his gratitude and gratitude for the trust given by the indigenous people of East Kalimantan.
"Thank you for the customary title given to me. Giving this customary title is an honor as well as a mandate that I must be responsible for," said Dudung in a written broadcast from the Army Information Service (Dispenad) received in Jakarta, Antara, Monday night.
The title "Kakah Demong Agung Defending the State" is the 10th customary title received by Dudung during his tenure as Army Chief of Staff and visiting various regions in Indonesia.
Previously, Dudung's arrival on a working visit to review the location of the Capital of the Archipelago (IKN) was welcomed by the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of North Penajam Paser Regency. Then, it was followed by a procession of receiving local customs with the Ronggeng Paser Dance which is the identity of the Paser community.
After the traditional title awarding ceremony, Dudung had the opportunity to distribute basic food assistance to the stunting family community at the IKN Zero Point.
Furthermore, he gave a certificate of appreciation to Private Denjasa Ang VI-44-13/Bekangdam VI/Mlw who managed to save 28 students and teachers who drowned on the boat passengers on their way home from school in the waters of Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, some time ago.
