Give Protection To Bharada E, LPSK Asks Commission III Of The House Of Representatives To Build Special Detention Center Justice Collaborator

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) requested support from Commission III of the DPR regarding the plan to build a detention house (rutan) or a special penitentiary (prison) for Justice Collaborators (JC).

This follows the protection of LPSK for Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E as justice collaborator (JC) in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.

LPSK chairman Hasto Atmojo Suroyo said the plan had been submitted to the Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Yasonna H Laoly.

"We ask for support from Mr and Mrs in Commission III. We actually already have a plan to be allowed to build a detention house for justice collaborators. We have conveyed this to Mr. Menkumham," said Hasto in a meeting of Commission III of the DPR with LPSK and Komnas HAM in Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, August 21

Hasto also revealed, a number of protection services to Bharada E by providing intense escort in coordination with the Criminal Investigation Department.

"LPSK coordinates with Bareskrim to provide this protection service in the form of placing a guard for 24 hours for the person concerned. We put 3 people there and take turns every 6 hours," said Hasto.

Including, he continued, providing food needs and spiritual recovery for Bharada E.

"LPSK also supplies food for Bharada E to anticipate that there will be no disturbance to the person concerned through food," said Hasto.

"In addition, we also provide spiritual healing by bringing in priests so that they can have a dialogue with Bharada E," he continued.
