Depok City Government Focuses On Infrastructure Development, GDC To Margonda Becomes Focus This Year
JAKARTA - The City Government (Pemkot) of Depok, West Java in 2022 will focus on nine priority activities to carry out various infrastructure developments.
The Mayor of Depok, Mohammad Idris in Depok, Saturday, August 20, said that for this year there were nine priority development activities, namely the rehabilitation of the Grand Depok City Bridge (GDC).
Then, the concreteization of Jalan Boulevard GDC, the arrangement of the Margonda pedestrian segment 3 and the handling of concrete work from Simpang Kartini to before Ciliwung.
Other developments, said Idris, are the Detail Engineering Design (DED) of the West Area City Square and Forest Park, the renovation of the Bojongsari Health Center, the construction of sports centers and MSMEs in several sub-districts.
Next is the development and arrangement of the environment at the sub-district office and several sub-district offices as well as the construction and arrangement of the Depok City Music Park environment.
"The end of the year is the peak of development activities. We apologize if this work interferes with the mobilization and comfort of the community. This development is for the public interest," he explained as quoted by ANTARA.
He said, previously at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, he was in the fear zone, then he entered the learning zone in adapting to significant changes. Currently entering the growing zone, which is a phase to evaluate the various dynamics that have passed.
"This is a momentum for us to design and continue various priority regional development programs. Hopefully they can be implemented and completed on time," he said.
