Dreams Come True, Kamaruddin Simanjuntak's Wish About Princess Candrawati Being A Suspect Has Finally Come True

JAKARTA - Three days ago, family lawyer Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J asked the Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police to name Putri Candrawathi as a suspect in premeditated murder. And now their wish has come true.

The special team (timsus) of the National Police has named the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawati, as a suspect in the case of Brigadier J's murder.

"Based on the results of the case, investigators have determined PC as a suspect," said Irwasum Polri Komjen Agung Budi Maryoto at a press conference, Friday, August 19.

The determination of the suspect against Ferdy Sambo's wife is supported by strong evidence. National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo previously requested a scientific-based investigation into the death of Brigadier J.

With this determination, a total of five people have been named suspects.

Apart from Putri Candrawati, the other suspects include Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard Eliezer, Bripka RR, Strong Maruf

The suspects were charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

The determination of the suspect against Putri Candrawati is because it is strongly suspected that she had a role in the alleged premeditated murder case of Brigadier J. Because Putri Candrawati had made a report on allegations of sexual harassment.

The problem is, the results of the investigation by the Timsus show that there were no facts about the abuse that was reported.

Kamaruddin Simanjuntak's request

Previously, Kamaruddin asked the police to immediately identify Putri as a suspect.

"I ask the main police officers to immediately make suspects," said Brigadier J's family lawyer, Kamaruddin Simanjuntak to reporters at the National Police Headquarters, Tuesday, August 16.

In his request, Kamaruddin said that he had conveyed it directly to the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department, Komjen Agus Andrianto and the Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi.

The request for the determination of the suspect also uses the basis of the police report (LP) that was made earlier at the beginning of the rolling case of Brigadier J's murder.

"Yes, it has been reported earlier. It means that she (Princess) is not a suspect," he said.
