List Of 6 Police Members Violate Criminals Obstructing Investigation Of Brigadier J .'s Murder Case
JAKARTA - The Special Inspectorate (Itsus) of the National Police stated that there are six members of the Bhayangkara Corps who are strongly suspected of obstructing justice or obstructing investigations in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J. They hold the rank of Inspector General to Kompol.
"Investigators conducted an in-depth examination, so there are 6 people from the results of the examination who are suspected of having committed a criminal act, namely obstruction of justice, obstructing the investigation," said Irwasum Polri Komjen Agung Budi Maryoto to reporters, Friday, August 19.
The police officers were Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, Kombes Agus Nurpatria, AKBP Arif Rahman Arifin, Kompol Baiquni Wibowo, and Kompol Cuk Putranto.
So, said Agung, the police officers, except for Ferdy Sambo, will be handed over to the Timsus. Then the five will be processed criminally.
"We will hand over the five that have been assigned to investigators in the near future. Technically, the investigators will explain their suspicions," he said.
Meanwhile, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo has been named a suspect in the murder of Brigadier J. Apart from Sambo, Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E, Bripka Ricky Rizal alias RR, Strong Maruf, and Putri Chandrawathi also have the status of suspects.
The five suspects were charged with Article 340 regarding premeditated murder subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code junto Article 55 paragraph (1) and 56 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
In this case, the Irsus Polri has also examined 83 Polri members who are suspected of having knowledge of the case of Brigadier J's murder. Of the dozens of people, almost some were recommended to be placed in a special place (patsus).
"Then 35 people have been recommended for special placements, which have been recommended," said Agung.
