Bahar raised the red and white flag to the right of the panel of judges while clenching his right hand. The moment was immediately welcomed by his supporters.
"Free Indonesia, live justice!" said Bahar Smith while raising the Red and White flag at the Bandung District Court, Bandung City, West Java, Tuesday, August 16, quoted from Antara.
The moment was greeted by supporters who were in the courtroom. Bahar also admitted that he accepted the verdict from the panel of judges.
After that, Bahar Smith sat back in the court seat and listened to the judge's advice after reading the verdict.
Chief Justice Dodong Rusdani pleaded with Bahar to re-screen his remarks when giving a lecture.
According to Dodong, the decision was given as a warning to the speaker in order to avoid problems in the future.
"Please, if there is a problem, discuss it with the legal team first, and filter it with the legal team so that it doesn't become a problem," said Dodong.
Bahar Smith was dragged to court because his remarks related to Rizieq Shihab who was imprisoned for holding the Prophet's Birthday and six FPI soldiers who were tortured to death.
