JAKARTA – PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) has reached an agreement with PT Indomarco Prismatama as the parent entity of the Indomaret Group, regarding the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) non-cash payment facility.
BNI Deputy President Director Adi Sulistyowati hopes that this latest commitment can make it easier for people to carry out daily transactions as well as the company's efforts to develop the banking business.
“Indomaret has 20,000 outlets spread throughout Indonesia and has become one of the top markets selling the needs of all segments of society. This is certainly a good business opportunity,” he said in a written statement quoted on Sunday, August 14.
