JAKARTA - Deputy for the Coordination of Regional Development and Spatial Planning at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Wahyu Utomo, said that the construction of 13 new National Strategic Projects (PSN) will be completed on time and on target.

"The government will ensure that the project is completed on time and on target because it has a positive impact on the Indonesian economy, both regionally and nationally," Wahyu said in an official statement quoted by Antara, Wednesday, August 10.

To achieve this goal, Wahyu said that the PSN Cooperation Project Responsible Person (PJPK) needs to complete various important things which include a project action plan until the first semester of 2024, project milestones per year and critical issues that need to be followed up.

"Action plans, achievements, and follow-up issues need to be immediately completed by the Person in Charge of the National Strategic Project as a basis for us to research and see what we have to do," Wahyu said.

The Chairperson of the Implementing Team for the Committee for the Acceleration of Priority Infrastructure Provision (KPPIP) described the 13 new PSNs, including, in the technology sector, there is the Palapa Ring Integration project, the plantation sector has the Deep Coconut Development project and its Derivative Industries in West Papua, the clean water and sanitation sector has Project for Development of Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) Ir.
