Bobotoh Geruduk Graha Building Protests Bad Appearance Of Persib Bandung, West Java Police Deploy 450 Personnel

BANDUNG - Hundreds of police personnel from the West Java Regional Police and the Bandung Polrestabes have begun to be deployed to guard the Graha Persib Building to anticipate the actions of Persib or Bobotoh supporters which are planned to be held on Wednesday, August 10 this afternoon.

The hundreds of police arrived at around 10.30 WIB using a number of personnel carrier vehicles. Bobotoh's action, which was planned to be carried out at 12.00 WIB, was to protest Persib's poor performance at the start of the League 1 season.

"There are around 450 personnel," said Bandung Police Chief Wetan Kompol Asep Saepudin in front of the Graha Persib Building, Jalan Sulanjana, Bandung City, West Java, quoted from Antara.

The police personnel began to stand guard and prepare a number of tools to provide security. In addition, the police also prepared tactical vehicles to disperse the crowd.

Even so, the traffic flow on Jalan Sulanjana is still open normally and can be passed by the public. However, for the time being, residents who want to visit Graha Persib cannot park their vehicles in the courtyard of the building because it is closed by the police.

The Viking Persib Club (VPC) stated that there would be around 5,000 people taking action at the Graha Persib Building. PR Viking Persib Club Hendra Darmawan said the thousands of people who would come were from various regions in West Java.

"Some have rented buses to come to Bandung. There are also friends from Makassar, they said they had arrived in Jakarta," said Hendra.

In the notification letter sent by the VPC to the Bandung Police, it was stated that there were two demands that would be submitted for the action.

The two demands were asking Persib coach Robert Alberts to quit the coach seat, and asking the local organizing committee to improve the ticket system for Persib matches.
