Proven To Save 7 Alprazolam Drugs, Bunga Citra Lestari Manager Officially Becomes A Suspect

JAKARTA - The manager of Bunga Citra Lestari with the initials MID, or Muhammad Ikhsan Doddyansyah was officially named a suspect in the case of psychotropic abuse by the West Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, August 8. From this case, the police also arrested the manager's colleague, the initials R. Both have been named suspects.

West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pasma Royce said, in this case as many as 2 people were named as suspects. Both were found to have abused the psychotropic sedative alprazolam, which is a class 4 drug.

"We have named 2 people as suspects, the manager with the initials MID and his friend with the initials R for the abuse of psychotropic substances," Kombes Pasma told reporters, Monday, August 8.

Previously, the manager of the famous BCL singer artist with the initials MID was arrested by Unit 3 of the West Jakarta Metro Police Satnarkoba. When arrested, MID was found to have 7 pills of the sedative alprazolam.

"It was found from the person concerned 7 points of psychotropic substance 4 without a doctor's prescription," he said.

In that arrest, the MID did not fight back. MID is cooperative and provides information on the whereabouts of the illicit goods.

"(The urine test result) is positive for benzo," he said.

According to the MID suspect, he has been using the sedative alprazolam for 1 year.

"It has been used for almost 1 year since 2021," he said.

Please note, Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine class of drugs that is classified as a class IV psychotropic. Alprazolam is commonly used in anxiety disorders, panic attacks and anxiety due to depression.

As a result of his actions, MID is threatened with criminal Article 112 of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with a maximum penalty of 4 years in prison.
