Kota Deltamas Cikarang Developer Owned By The Late Conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja Earns Rp660 Billion Profit In Semester I 2022
JAKARTA - The industrial estate developer of the Sinar Mas Group owned by conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja, PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS) recorded a net profit of Rp. 660 billion in the first half of 2022. The profit in the first half of this year grew by 128.7 percent from the net profit of the first half of 2021. of IDR 289 billion.
In the first half of 2022, DMAS recorded operating revenues of Rp. 1.07 trillion, or 84.0 percent higher than operating revenues in the first half of 2021 of Rp. 580 billion.
Of these operating revenues, the industrial segment still contributed the largest contribution of Rp. 859 billion or about 80.5 percent of total operating revenues, followed by the commercial segment of Rp. 176 billion or 16.5 percent of total operating revenues and the residential segment of Rp. 23 billion or 2.1 percent of total operating income.
Meanwhile, the contribution from the hotel and rental segment's operating revenues to total operating revenues was 0.4 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively.
"The data center sector is still the main customer that contributes to the sale of our industrial land which is recorded as the company's revenue in the first half of 2022," said Director and Corporate Secretary of DMAS, Tondy Suwanto, in a statement, quoted Friday, August 5.
DMAS gross profit grew 125.6 percent from Rp335 billion in the first half of 2021 to Rp755 billion in the first half of 2022. Tondy explained that the gross profit margin experienced a significant increase in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period in the previous year.
"The company's gross profit margin increased from 57.7 percent in the first half of 2021 to 70.8 percent in the first half of 2022," said Tondy.
Along with gross profit growth, DMAS operating profit grew 155.7 percent to Rp652 billion in the first half of 2022 compared to Rp255 billion in the same period in the previous year. The operating profit margin also increased to 61.1 percent in the first half of this year compared to the operating profit margin in the first half of last year of 44.0 percent.
Meanwhile, the net profit margin was recorded at 61.9 percent, higher than the net profit margin in the same period in 2021 of 49.8 percent.
"The company has no debt. With a healthy net cash position, the company continues to strive to develop Kota Deltamas to realize Kota Deltamas as a modern integrated area in east Jakarta by combining industrial, commercial and residential areas," concluded Tondy.
