Obstacles In Disclosure Of Brigadier J's Murder Case: Lost Or Damaged Evidence

JAKARTA - The special team (timsus) of the National Police explained several obstacles experienced in the process of revealing the case of the death of Brigadier J at the shelter of the inactive Head of the Propam Division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. One of them is up to or damage to CCTV evidence which is a 'key witness'.

"Of course, the obstacle to proving it is that evidence is damaged or omitted," said the National Police's Criminal Investigation Officer, Komjen Agus Ardianto, to reporters, Thursday, August 4.

Therefore, the process of disclosing this case takes a longer time. However, the team formed by the National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit will fully reveal, including the mastermind behind it.

At the same press conference, the National Police Chief stated that the team formed by him had found the facts behind the disappearance and damage to CCTV around the location of the death of Brigadier J. Including the identity of the perpetrator.

"There is a broken CCTV that was taken at the time at the security guard and we have also investigated it and we have found out how the process was taken," said Sigit to reporters, Thursday, August 4.

According to him, the team has already pocketed the identity of the perpetrator. In fact, information has been asked about actions related to important evidence in the case of Brigadier J's murder.

But the National Police Chief did not clearly state who the perpetrators were. He only said that the person would be processed according to the applicable regulations.

"We have also checked who took (CCTV) and at this time of course we will carry out the next process," said Sigit.
