West Aceh Was Hit By A Storm, The Roofs Of Residents' Houses Were Lifted, This Is What It Looks Like
JAKARTA - The West Aceh Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded that two residential units and a fence belonging to a resident of Suak Ribee Village, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency were damaged by the storm.
"No people have been victims of this natural disaster," said the Coordinator of the Operations Control Center (Pusdalops) of the West Aceh BPBD, Mashuri in Meulaboh, Wednesday, August 3.
Each of the houses that were victims of the natural disaster, owned by Masuri (55 years old), suffered losses due to the roof being lifted, with an estimated loss of more than Rp. 10 million.
Then the house belonging to Tengku Fadhlon (66 years old) who suffered damage to the roof in the kitchen of his house as a result of a neighbor's house building falling on him.
In addition, the fence at Saifullah's house (65 years old), which was damaged by strong winds with losses estimated at millions of rupiah.
Mashuri explained that the damage to the buildings that befell three heads of families in Suak Ribee Village, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency occurred when the area was hit by heavy rains accompanied by strong winds.
Despite the damage, as of Wednesday night the victims were still living in their homes and did not evacuate.
"We have also reported this incident to the relevant parties, in the hope of getting further assistance and handling," said Mashuri.
