The Case Of Brigadier J's Death, Komnas HAM Will Ask For Information On Ballistics
JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) scheduled a request for information regarding the ballistic test on Wednesday (3/8), regarding the death of Brigadier J at the shelter of the inactive Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
"So, regarding bullets, the use of weapons and something like that," Komnas HAM Commissioner Beka Ulung Hapsara said in Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 1.
This was conveyed after examining the Adjutant and Household Assistant of the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, at the Komnas HAM office in Jakarta.
Komnas HAM on Tuesday (2/8) will hold internal activities so that the investigation into the case of Brigadier J's death will only be carried out on Wednesday (3/8).
"We will hold a plenary session and focus on that first, then continue next Wednesday," said Beka.
To date, Komnas HAM has conducted a series of examinations and information gathering on several parties. It started by gathering information from Brigadier J's family in Jambi Province.
Then, a request for information was made to the National Police Medical and Health Center (Pusdokkes), including the doctors who carried out the autopsy of Brigadier J. Next was the examination of seven Adjutant and Household Assistants, Inspector General of Police, Ferdy Sambo.
Not only that, Komnas HAM has also carried out deepening and extracting information related to cyber and digital forensics. Including about 20 CCTV footage spread over 27 points. Starting from Magelang, Central Java. to the Kramat Jati Jakarta Hospital, as well as communication networks from the parties involved in the case.
However, from the series of examinations, Komnas HAM has not been able to give a conclusion to the public regarding the death of Brigadier J because there is still a number of information and information needed by the human rights institution.
