JAKARTA - A number of Korean dramas will enliven the release in August 2022. Some of them are the latest projects of popular South Korean actors and actresses.

Ji Chang Wook returned to the television screen through the drama If You Wish Upon Me which aired this month. Then there was Lee Seung Gi who chose a romance drama after appearing stunningly in Mouse.

Hunted

In the middle of hunting wild boar in a village, someone disappeared from the village. The secrets of the villagers began to be revealed through this case.

Young Soo (Park Ho San) is married to Chae Jung (Kim Soo Jin). One day Young Soo and Chae Jung are suspicious of some of the villagers over their case. Hunted will premiere today, Monday, August 1st.

Poong: The Joseon Psychiatrist

Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min Jae) is a doctor for the royal family. But he was involved in a family conspiracy so he was expelled from his job.

Now he lives and works in the village of Gyesu where he meets Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) and Gye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung). Yoo Se Poong becomes a doctor who heals the residents of Gyesu.

The drama Poong: The Joseon Psychiatrist will air starting today, Monday, August 1 on tvN and VIU.

If You Wish Upon Me

Yoon Gyeo Rye (Ji Chang Wook) is a child who once lived in an orphanage and was imprisoned. He struggles to live a normal life until he experiences a strange incident.

One day Gyeo Rye is hired at the hospital and meets Kang Tae Sik (Sung Dong Il) and Seo Yeon Joo (Sooyoung). This drama was inspired by the Ambulance Wish Foundation from the Netherlands, a program to realize the wishes of critically ill patients.

If You Wish Upon Me will premiere August 10 on KBS2 and VIU.

A Model Family

Dong Ha (Jung Woo) is the breadwinner for his family and is married to Eun Joo (Yoon Jin Seo). Dong Ha is having a hard time financially and plans to divorce his wife.
