Was Critically Beaten By Ciledug Residents, Motorcycle Thief Lying Without Clothes Finally Died
TANGERANG - A motorcycle thief (Curanmor) who was beaten critically by the masses in Ciledug has finally died at the Police Hospital. This was conveyed by the Head of the Ciledug Police, Commissioner Noor Maghantara.
"(The perpetrator) died at the Police Hospital, this morning (29, July). But there is still no identity," said Noor when confirmed by Voi, Saturday, July 30.
The perpetrators were beaten by a mob on Wednesday, July 27, at 16.00 WIB. At that time, the perpetrator was stripped of his clothes and lay covered in blood on the street. Noor said that currently the body has been taken to the Tangerang Regional Hospital. It is planned that the body of the unidentified perpetrator (Mr. X) will be buried at the Salapanjang TPU, Neglasari, Tangerang City.
"The body does not yet have an identity. Later, if it has not been picked up (the family), Mr. X is buried along Neglasari," he concluded.
Previously, it was reported that a motorcycle thief at Lembang Market, Jalan Raden Fatah, Ciledug, Tangerang was critical after being beaten by a mob, Wednesday, July 27, at 16.00 WIB. The perpetrator was stripped of his clothes and lay covered in blood on the street.
Ciledug Police Chief Kompol Noor Maghantara confirmed the incident.
"(One thief-red) Critical condition, referred to Police Hospital," said Noor via text message to VOI, Wednesday, July 27.
According to Noor, at first the victim, with the initials AS, parked his motorbike next to his merchandise cart. He wanted to meet his friend on Jalan Raden Fatah.
“The perpetrator approached the motorcycle and the victim saw the perpetrator fiddling with the handlebars of the victim's motorcycle. The victim then approached his motorcycle. And the perpetrators took the motorbike 20 meters away," explained Noor.
The victim with the initials AS tried to chase the perpetrator along with local residents at the location. Until finally caught, the perpetrator was judged by local residents.
So the residents chased the perpetrators until they were finally arrested and beaten by the surrounding mob, battered," he said.
Even though he was in critical condition, the police immediately took the suspect to the hospital. There were serious injuries all over the victim's body.
Although currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, the perpetrator was named a suspect. He suspected that the perpetrators numbered more than one person.
