Last Week Roy Suryo Used A Wheelchair After Being Examined, Last Night He Used A Neck Brace, Gun Romli: Next Week He Will Only Be Examined In A Mental Hospital

JAKARTA - PSI politician Guntur Romli or Gun Romli is furious with Roy Suryo's actions while undergoing an investigation into the Borubudur Temple stupa meme case that resembles President Jokowi.

In this case, Roy Suryo was named a suspect on Friday, July 22. The second questioning was carried out by the former Menpora at Polda Metro Jaya on Thursday, July 28 yesterday.

When finished undergoing the examination, Roy Suryo was seen wearing a neck brace. He was accompanied by a number of his lawyers out of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Polda Metro Jaya at around 22.30 WIB.

"Next week, this person will be examined in a mental hospital," said Gun Romli on his Twitter account, @gunromli, Friday, July 29.

Gun Romli was annoyed with the unusual situation Roy Suryo used to use a tool after undergoing an examination of the Borubudur Temple stupa meme case.

During the first investigation in the same case, Roy Suryo left the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya using a wheelchair.

Roy Suryo looks weak and gets help using a wheelchair when he gets to his car after undergoing 12 hours of inspection on Saturday, July 23, at around 22.20 WIB.

In the case of the Borubudur Temple stupa meme that resembles President Jokowi uploaded to the Twitter account @KRMTRoySuryo2, the police have examined the reporting witnesses.

As for Roy Suryo, it was reported by two parties. The first rapporteur for the representatives of Indonesian Buddhists is Kurniawan Santoso.

The report was received by Polda Metro Jaya on June 20, 2022, with registration number STTLP/B/3042/VI/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya.

Then the second report was submitted by Kevin Wu to the Criminal Investigation Police, which was then transferred to the Polda Metro Jaya. The report was recorded under the number LP/B/0293/VI/2022/SPKT/BARESKRIM dated June 20, 2022.

The two reports suspect Roy Suryo of violating Article 28 Paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 45 Paragraph 2 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).

Then also Article 156a of the Criminal Code and Article 15 of Law Number 1 of 1946 concerning the Criminal Law Regulations.
