Police Secure Box Car In Samarinda Modified Contains Diesel Storage Drum
SAMARINDA - Police arrested the perpetrators of the misuse of subsidized diesel fuel in Sungai Kunjang, Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The perpetrator modified a box car with a drum to accommodate diesel fuel.
Sungai Kunjang police chief Kompol Made Anwara said the perpetrator was arrested while refueling diesel fuel at the Rapak Indah gas station, Thursday, July 21.
The perpetrators are known to be queuing to refuel subsidized diesel fuel at gas stations using a modified box car. Inside the box contains a drum to accommodate diesel fuel.
"The perpetrator manipulated by placing a drum in a box car that was connected to a 1-inch hose and a water pump engine was added so that it could accommodate diesel fuel when filling at the gas station," he said, quoted from a written statement.
The driver was immediately taken to the police station along with a box car.
"We have secured the evidence and the perpetrators at the Sungai Kunjang Police," he added.
