Mahfud MD Remains Meeting Until The Night Even Though Isoman Due To Positive COVID-19 After Hajj

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from performing the pilgrimage from Mecca. He conveyed this news through his Instagram account, @mohmahfudmd.

"I was already in the country but first wasoman because I was detected positive for COVID after returning from Mecca," Mahfud said in his upload, Tuesday, July 19.

Mahfud said he was not experiencing any symptoms. He still has a good appetite and his physical mobility is not disturbed.

The former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) even continues to carry out his activities as usual. Mahfud said he remained in the meeting until the evening.

"There are no symptoms of fever or dizziness, good appetite, normal physical mobility. This Sunday and Monday, I also chair meetings and fill the event virtually until late at night," he said.

This morning, continued Mahfud, he also took the time to exercise while sunbathing like the video he uploaded on Instagram. He was seen playing table tennis while sunbathing.

Mahfud ensured that all his activities were carried out with strict health protocols. The goal, so that the spread of the virus does not occur in the vicinity.

"This morning I was engrossed in playing ping pong with the aide. But I am isoman and WFH according to health protocols," he concluded.
