Contact Flight Director At 19.25 WIB, The T-50i Golden Eagle Fighter Plane Then Disappeared, Metal Fragments Were In Blora
MAGETAN - The Indonesian Air Force carried out security and evacuation at the crash site of the T-50i Golden Eagle fighter plane, in Nginggil Village, Kradenan District, Blora Regency, Central Java.
"To secure and evacuate, tonight a team from Iswahjudi Air Base will immediately move to the location," said Head of Information for Iswahjudi Air Base Captain Sus Yudha Pramono in a press statement from Dispenau reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 18.
The 15th Air Squadron aircraft from Iswahjudi Air Base, Magetan, which was manned by one pilot, was reported to have had an accident while conducting a Night Tactical Intercept exercise on Monday (18/7) night. The aircraft was piloted by First Lieutenant Pnb Allan Safitra Indra.
The aircraft with tail number TT-5009 was recorded as taking off from the Iswahjudi Magetan Air Base at 18.24 WIB to conduct night flight training.
Then at 19.25 WIB, the pilot was still in contact with the "flight director", but after that the plane's position could not be contacted.
His party admitted that they did not know the exact condition of the pilot and the plane, because the team is currently heading to the location where the plane crashed.
Information in the field, from regional officials and the people of Nginggil Village, Kradenan District, Blora, Central Java, confirmed the presence of metal fragments suspected to be the location where the T-50i Golden Eagle crashed.
