Police Investigate Finding Headless Body Stuck In Rocks In Deli River, Serdang, North Sumatra
MEDAN - Police are still investigating the case of finding a headless corpse stuck in rocks in the Lau Betimus River, Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.
"It's still under investigation," said Pancur Batu Police Chief, Kompol Eriyanto Ginting, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 18.
The body, whose identity has not been identified, was first discovered by local residents on Sunday (17/7) while fishing in the river.
Eyewitnesses found the body stuck in the rocks in the river flow in a body condition without a head.
The eyewitness then conveyed the findings of the body to local residents who were then reported by the Pancur Batu Police.
He added that the body has now been taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital in Medan for an autopsy.
"It's still being autopsied," he said.
