Because Of Posting Children's Photos On Facebook, Siri Couple From Madura Arrested By Tambora Police

JAKARTA - A 6-month-old toddler girl with the initials IN, has been kidnapped by her neighbor. ZD (17), the mother of the IN victim, finally reported the case to the police.

The ZD victim, a resident of Jalan Krendang Timur, Tambora, West Jakarta, reported the kidnapping incident that happened to him to the Tambora Sector Police.

After receiving the report, the two perpetrators were finally caught by the police. From the confession of the two perpetrators to the police, they were desperate to steal the victim's child because they had no offspring (children).

West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Public Relations, Kompol Moch Taufik Iksan, said that currently the Tambora Police have succeeded in uncovering a child abduction case.

"The child abduction case carried out by his own neighbor took place in the Krendang area, Tambora, West Jakarta. The two perpetrators are known to have the initials SD (27) and SM (41)," Kompol Taufik Iksan told reporters on Monday, July 18.

Meanwhile, Tambora Police Chief Kompol Rosana Albertina Labobar said the perpetrator was a neighbor of the victim

"SD and SM are neighbors of the victim who have only two months of contracting, the two perpetrators are a couple who married in a serial manner," said Kompol Rosana.

According to a policewoman who is familiarly called Kompol Ocha, the incident began on Wednesday, July 13, at around 11.00 WIB. The victim's mother left for work and her grandmother left her child.

Then at around 19.00 WIB, the elementary school perpetrator approached the victim's grandmother to borrow the baby. But it can't be because it's in a sleeping position. Then secretly the perpetrator brought the victim IN.

Then one hour around 20.00 WIB, the victim's mother came home from work and looked for the victim. Arriving in the room, the victim's mother was shocked to see her daughter was not in the room.

Then the victim's mother went to the perpetrator's rented house, but it was already dark and the elementary school was not in the rented house.

After conducting an investigation and conducting a cyber patrol, the police found the victim's child on the Facebook page in Madura.

"The two perpetrators were arrested on Saturday 16 July 2022 at 16.00 WIB at their house in Pongkerep Hamlet, Sokobanah Daya Village, Sokobanah District, Sampang Regency, Madura, East Java. The two perpetrators were arrested while with the victim," he explained.

As a result of their actions, the two perpetrators were charged with Article 76f Jo 83 of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning protection and Article 55 of the Criminal Code for children with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
