7 BPN Officials Involved In Land Mafia Cases, 1 Of Them Use New Mode Of Erase Certificate Data With Bleach Liquid

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya arrested seven officials of the National Land Agency (BPN) who were involved in the land mafia case. One of the suspects revealed a new mode, namely, erasing ownership data on the certificate with bleach.

"Deleting the written data that has been printed on the victim on the certificate," said Head of the Harda Sub-Directorate of the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police AKBP Petrus Silalahi when contacted, Friday, July 15.

This mode is used by the suspect with the initials PS. He is the Head of PTSL BPN Adjudication for South Jakarta City Administration.

After being deleted, the suspect PS will write down the ownership data with a new name. Thus, the land that became the object has changed hands.

"After being deleted, it was then overwritten with the names of other suspects on the certificate sheet," said Petrus.

Meanwhile, Kanit 1 of the Harda Sub-Directorate of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Metro Jaya Police AKP Mulya Adhimara said that in deleting the ownership data on the land certificate, the suspect PS used bleach. Then, rub it with an ear cleaner.

"So to delete the text that has been typed on the certificate, you only need a bayclean, a small piece of wood wrapped in a tissue or it could be a cotton bud," said Mulya.

In this land mafia case, Polda Metro Jaya has named 7 BPN officials as suspects. They carried out the action around 2016 to 2017.

The suspects were charged with Article 167 of the Criminal Code and or Article 263 of the Criminal Code and or Article 266 of the Criminal Code Juncto Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
