COVID-19 Update As Of July 14: New Cases 3,584, Accumulated 6,123,753
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 86,512 specimens were examined with the results of 3,584 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,123,753 people and active cases have increased by 703 to 24,490 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, July 14.
Today's recovered cases increased by 2,872 cases, bringing the total to 5,942,436 recovered people. Then, positive confirmation that 9 died and a total of 156,827 people.
The province with the highest new cases was DKI Jakarta with 1,749 cases and a total of 1,288,244 cases. Followed by West Java with 723 new cases with a total of 1,119,036 cases. Banten has 407 new cases and a total of 301,315 cases. Then, East Java with 246 new cases and a total of 580,278 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1,571 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 664 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 271 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 224 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 101,839,771.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 4.82 percent," he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 5,645 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 201,832,439 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 169,423,235. people underwent a second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 52,242,030. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
