Maintain Security After Demonstration KPK Sets RHP As Suspect, Hundreds Of Brimob Safe Nusa 1 Personnel Sent To Central Mamberamo Papua

JAYAPURA - Hundreds of Brimob Aman Nusa 1 personnel were dispatched to Central Mamberamo Regency, Papua to support the local Police in order to create a safe situation.

The Head of Public Relations of the Papuan Police, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, said that the deployment of hundreds of personnel was to be carried out at the Central Mamberamo Police Station to anticipate disturbances in public order and security.

These hundreds of personnel were led by Danyongas Brimob Aman Nusa 1 AKBP Alex Frestian Lumban Tobing.

"This morning Brimob Aman Nusa 1 personnel departed from Wamena to Kobakma, Central Mamberamo Regency by land to strengthen the Central Mamberamo Police," said Kombes Kamal in a written statement, Monday, July 11.

Later, these Brimob personnel will be placed in crime-prone points. In addition, they will support the Central Mamberamo Police in conducting patrols around Kobakma City.

Previously, on Saturday 9 July, the public concerned about RHP held an action to convey their aspirations in response to the KPK's decision to appoint Ricky Ham Pagawak as a suspect in the bribery and gratification case.

This action resulted in people living around Kobakma, Central Mamberamo Regency, choosing to flee to Jayawijaya Regency because it was considered safer.
