KPK Council Reveals Lili Pintauli Siregar Has Filed Resignation Since June 30
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean said Lili Pintauli Siregar had submitted her resignation as Deputy Chair of the KPK since the end of last June.
The resignation was carried out when the KPK Supervisory Board investigated the alleged ethical violation committed by Lili after receiving accommodation and MotoGP tickets from PT Pertamina (Persero).
"I saw the letter on June 30, 2022," Tumpak said in a press conference after reading the verdict of the ethics trial at the ACLC KPK Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Monday, July 11.
Tumpak said the letter was addressed directly to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Then, Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 71/P/2022 regarding Lili's dismissal was signed on Monday, July 11.
The KPK Supervisory Board, continued Tumpak, had received the two letters. "There were two letters submitted. One letter of resignation and a presidential decree," he said.
"We, as the KPK Council, have received an official statement from the State Secretariat regarding the decision," continued Tumpak.
Previously, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Supervisory Board stated that Lili's ethical trial would not be continued and was declared void. The reason is that the former Deputy Chairperson of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) has submitted his resignation from his position to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Lili was again reported to the KPK Council for allegedly receiving hotel accommodation facilities and tickets to watch the 2022 MotoGP race at the Mandalika International Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), from PT Pertamina (Persero).
In dealing with the alleged receipt, the KPK Supervisory Board has collected materials and information from related parties, including the state-owned company. President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati has also been examined some time ago and provided additional information in writing.
Not only that, the KPK Council has also asked related parties to bring proof of booking accommodation at Amber Lombok Beach Resort and Mandalika MotoGP tickets at the Grandstand Premium Zone A-Red.
