Falls In The Gradually Line, Two Residents Of Rorotan Jakut Died While Riding A Motorcycle Without Helem
JAKARTA - A driver and passenger of an automatic motorcycle died after the motorbike he was driving collided with a minibus on Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, Friday, July 8.
The accident began when the motorbike driven by the two victims drove from Cawang to Tanjung Priok through the slow lane. Suddenly the right handle of the victim's motorbike hit the minibus body that was driving from the same direction. Until finally the victim's motorbike fell.
Head of East Jakarta Satwil Traffic Unit, Iptu Seno Wibowo, said the incident occurred on Friday, July 8, in the early hours of the morning, at around 03.45 WIB.
"The severe wound that was carried was bleeding in the ears. The front also had a head impact. Both of them died," said Iptu Seno to reporters, Friday, July 8.
The two victims died after hitting the pavement. The victim suffered serious head injuries and died instantly at the scene.
"The speed is not so fast because it is in a slow lane, but the fall is in the fatal organ of the head. The motorcyclist hit the car on the right handlebar and immediately fell to the left and hit the pavement. Both of them were head injuries," he said.
When conducting a crime scene investigation by the East Jakarta Satlantas, officers did not find any calm on the two victims.
"Not finding helmets from either of them, they (male) were young people from Rorotan. They were neighbors, there was also a driver's license. The victim was immediately evacuated and this morning the family had come to ask for a letter to remove the victim's body, it had been taken (the victim's body)," he said.
The East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit is still conducting an investigation to confirm the identity of the victim's crasher's car. The police also do not know the license plate of the driver's vehicle that fled.
"For car drivers there is minimal information. So the type is not registered, (only) the type of minibus is like that," he added.
Meanwhile, the motorbike driven by the victim was secured to the East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit office to be used as evidence.
