Malaysia Masters 2022: "Brother's War" Won By Chico, Anthony Ginting Kendapa Comeback
JAKARTA Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo reached the semifinals of the Malaysia Masters 2022. He got a ticket after defeating his compatriot, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting.
The 24-year-old badminton player fell in the first game 11-21 before winning the next two games with 21-16 and 21-17 at the Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, on Friday, July 8.
In the last four, Chico will meet Chinese representative Lu Guang Zu. Just like Chico, Lu also penetrated the semifinals after stopping the steps of his compatriot Li Shi Feng.
Chico became Indonesia's third representative to reach the semifinals. Meanwhile, Anthony was the first representative to be eliminated in the quarter-finals.
