Launching The Latest NFT-Based Avatar Collection, Buyers Don't Need Crypto Wallet
JAKARTA - Entertainment and news website site, Reddit launches the latest NFT-based avatar. Interestingly, the company says that you can buy it using a credit card or debit, and no need to have a crypto wallet.
Launching from TechCrunch, the social networking company said it would release 90 designs with a total number of NFTs to be sold in this initial access phase to "tens of thousands."
In this series, the company says that Reddit's collection of avatars (Collectible Avatars) is a limited edition avatar created by independent artists in collaboration with Reddit..
In its blog, Reddit says that this avatar collection will be available for purchase or free for Premium Reddit users. The Avatar collection is powered by blockchain technology, which will give buyers the (lisentence) to use art inside and outside of Reddit.
Reddit has partnered with Polygon, a blockchain compatible with Ethereum, to print this avatar on-chain. You can use the Reddit-owned blockchain wallet called the Vault which is available on the company's original app to store and manage this NFT.
The Avatar Collection will be available to everyone in the coming weeks, but today the company is allowing early view access to a number of Reddit users joining the r/CollectibleAvatars community.
Because there is no auction, all NFTs have fixed prices and can be purchased through fiat currencies such as US dollars. The price list for this NFT avatar is 9.99 US dollars (Rp 149 thousand) to 99.99 US dollars (Rp 1.49 million).
