Kang Tae Oh Admits That Lee Joon Ho's Role In The Extraordinary Authority Woo
JAKARTA - Kang Tae Oh admits that it is difficult to play his new character in the Korean drama Extraordinary Authority Woo. Through an interview, he also told the reason for taking this project.
Extraordinary Authority Woo tells the story of Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin), a lawyer who is smart and has autism. He never forgets what he saw but he has difficulty communicating socially.
Woo Young Woo started working as a training lawyer at a big firm. There he was friends with Lee Joon Ho, played by Kang Tae Oh. Lee Joon Ho is a popular employee who works with Woo Young Woo.
Through my gaze and small reactions, I have to express my thoughts and mental support for Young Woo. Because this is not a character that requires extraordinary acting, it feels more difficult, Kang Tae Oh told Singles Magazine.
"Finally to convey the picture of the character, I worked hard to reduce my expression," he said.
Kang Tae Oh, who is better known for his comedy acting, looks different through his new role. But that's also the reason why he chose the Extraordinary Authority Woo.
I think it's suitable to call this drama fresh and warm. When I first read the script, I felt the atmosphere was very strong and I wanted to join," explained Kang Tae Oh.
With his new role, Kang Tae Oh continues to learn about acting even though he has been in the industry for 10 years.
I still have to learn a lot from the people around me. Regardless of the big or small role, I feel the same responsibility and burden," said Kang Tae Oh.
Drama Extraordinary Authority Woo can be watched every Wednesday and Thursday on Netflix.
