Permit Does Not Collide Until It Has A Good Impact On The Economy, Central Lombok Regency Government 100 Percent Supports Cable Car To Rinjani

LOMBOK - The Government of Central Lombok Regency, Nusa Tenggara Province supports the plan to build a cable car from Karang Sidemen Village to Mount Rinjani National Park (TNGR). This development will have an impact on the economic growth of the community.

"The local government supports it, because the construction of the cable car will not damage the forest area," said Head of the Central Lombok Bappeda, Lalu Wiranata in Praya, Antara, Wednesday, July 6.

According to him, the cable car construction plan is not a problem, because the status of the forest area to be used has become a people's park forest area.

In addition, an Environmental Impact Analysis (Amdal) process has been carried out and a feasibility study has been carried out, so that there are no problems in terms of licensing and other technical development permits will be completed.

"The technical permit has not yet been carried out, because the construction process has not yet started," he said.

He said that his party had not been able to provide an explanation of the target for the construction of the cable car, because so far there has been no official agreement letter between investors and the NTB provincial government.

"There are still no investors, so we are still waiting for the NTB provincial government. There is also no design," said Lalu Wiranata.

Previously, investors from China invested IDR 100 billion in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara to build a cable car and would put IDR 5 billion in funds as a form of seriousness in the NTB Provincial Government.
