Ahead Of Next Week's Duel, Javi Fortuna Questions Ryan Garcia's Mental Health Problems

JAKARTA - Javier Fortuna threw scathing words at Ryan Garcia, who canceled their fight in the past. The Dominican boxer questioned Garcia's attitude and insisted that the Mexican-American boxer had no mental problems at all.

Fortuna and Garcia were scheduled to face each other last year. However, Garcia called off the fight citing mental health issues. He was then absent from boxing for several months.

For Javier Fortuna, Ryan Garcia is lying

Fortuna did not forget that fact and criticized the boxer who will be his opponent in the next few weeks. For him, mental health problems never existed.

"I don't think Ryan Garcia had a mental problem, nor did he suffer from it at the time," the Caribbean boxer said in a recent interview for Boxingscene.com.

She even went so far as to rebuke him again, "The same week he said he had the problem, I saw him with his girlfriend making jokes."

Ryan Garcia and Javier Fortuna Will Meet in Los Angeles

The two boxers will face each other on July 16 for the long-awaited fight. Cryptoarena.com in Los Angeles will be the venue to host this event.

Fortuna believes he can beat Garcia in the ring. He insists he has the skills and talent needed to emerge victorious.

"He doesn't have the skills and talent to beat me. I hope he's ready this time. His speed doesn't scare me and I know how to fight him, I have the experience to do it."
