Still In Mourning, Golkar Doesn't Want To Talk About Who Fills Tjahjo Kumolo's Chair
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, emphasized that there was no discussion regarding the vacancy of the seat of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) with coalition parties.
Airlangga emphasized that it was not good for the conversation to be carried out in an atmosphere that was still mourning the death of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Tjahjo Kumolo.
"There was no discussion, and we are still in a sad mood. So it's a bit inappropriate to talk about it," Airlangga told reporters in Jakarta, Monday, July 4, quoted from Antara.
Airlangga, who is also the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, emphasized that the replacement of the cabinet minister's seat is the authority and prerogative of President Joko Widodo.
The party where Tjahjo was under during his lifetime, namely the PDI-P, conveyed the same thing that the party is still in a state of mourning.
PDI-P DPP chairman Djarot Saiful Hidayat stressed that his party left all decisions to President Jokowi as the holder of the prerogative and never thought that the RB replacement for Tjahjo Kumolo should be from the PDI-P.
