Surabaya City Government Waits For Clarity In Purchasing Cooking Oil Using Applications
JAKARTA - The Surabaya City Government is currently waiting for detailed technical instructions on how to purchase bulk cooking oil for the people using the PeduliLindung application.
"Of course we want everything to be considered and prepared carefully, including cooking oil sellers who are also expected to be able to access the application," said Deputy Mayor of Surabaya, Armuji, in Surabaya, Saturday, July 2.
Armuji said the Surabaya City Government through the Surabaya Cooperative, Trade and UKM Service would provide socialization to oil traders and the community.
He explained that purchasing cooking oil using the PeduliLindung application or NIK is to control the flow of cooking oil, so that one NIK can only buy a maximum of 10 liters per day.
"This policy avoids the accumulation of cooking oil, so the flow of goods can be controlled," he said.
In addition, he continued, the purchase of bulk cooking oil at the consumer level will be limited to a maximum of 10 kilograms for one NIK per day. In addition, the price of bulk cooking oil is in accordance with the highest retail price (HE), which is Rp. 14,000 per liter or Rp. 15,500 per liter.
Previously, the socialization and transition of buying bulk cooking oil with the PeduliLindung application was extended to three months.
This was done because there are still many official retailers who have not been registered in the Bulk Cooking Oil Information System 2.0 (Simirah 2.0) and Logistics and Retail Service Business Actors (PUJLE) who have not downloaded the QR Code PeduliLindung.
