BTEL Group Achieves 400 Percent Revenue Growth In 2021

JAKARTA - BTEL Group submitted an audited 2021 financial report showing a solid performance improvement. The company recorded operating revenues of Rp52.1 billion, grew nearly 400 percent or 5 times from the previous year.

President Director of BTEL Group, Harya Mitra Hidayat said. the company in 2021 began to feel a positive impact on the realization of the company's vision, namely the transformation of business activities into digital-based business activities.

"In realizing this vision, the company's management strategy is to carry out business activities through business units that can adapt agilely," said Harya in a statement, Saturday, July 2.

As reported by the company on the stock exchange and also in the previous year's public expose, BTEL has several business units that become the locomotive of driving performance. Through PT Jasa Prima Digital (LPD), the company conducts business activities by providing communication solutions for the corporate target market.

Along with the development of the digital business industry, especially e-commerce activities, the services offered by LPD have also increased, both during the pandemic period until now. In the future, LPD will also develop its Communication Solutions product with communication services based on Artificial Intelligent (AI) digital technology.

Furthermore, through PT Innovation Teknologi Nusantara (“ITN”), the Company focuses on providing Information Technology (IT) solutions. ITN also provides skilled manpower (experts) in the IT field for various corporate sectors.

Currently, ITN has collaborated in providing internet-based technology and complementary tools (IOT or Internet of Things) for the electric transportation industry (electric vehicle) and the mining industry.

PT Cakra Andalas Facility (CAF) is the company's business unit engaged in the provision and management of infrastructure which currently focuses on the broadcasting industry. Along with the enactment of a government decree that the broadcasting industry must switch to using a broadcast system from analog to digital until the November 2022 deadline, CAF's business opportunity becomes very potential.

In 2021, CAF has carried out business activities in managing the digital-based broadcast industry infrastructure, which accounts for around 50 percent of BTEL Group's total revenue.

Lastly, PT Sangads Digital Pariwara (Sangads), is the company's business unit engaged in digital marketing. The rapid development of the digital business ecosystem provides great opportunities in this line of business which has also been realized in the form of Sangads Revenue which has begun to flow.

Nearly 30 percent of BTEL Group's revenue is from Sangads business activities. Sangads provides branding and promotion solutions, especially for medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) where Sangads prepares creative ideas (Creative Agency function) and also maximizes appropriate advertising on digital platforms (Digital Media Agency function).

In the near future, Sangads will launch its digital platform which will be very beneficial for the clients and also for the Sangads business activities.
