Deputy Chairperson Of The KPK Nurul Ghufron: Tjahjo Kumolo Is Instrumental In Helping The Process Of Transitioning KPK Employees To ASN
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) expresses its condolences for the death of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN RB) Tjahjo Kumolo.
Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, said that Tjahjo had contributed to the transition process of anti-corruption commission employees to become state civil servants (ASN).
"I personally and on behalf of the KPK's extended family mourn the death of Mr. Tjahjo kumolo. I testify that he is a good person, wise, patient, and loves Indonesia very much," said Ghufron to reporters, Friday, July 1.
"He has been very instrumental in helping the process of transitioning KPK employees to ASN," he added.
Ghufron prayed for the former Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri).
"We, all the big family of the KPK, pray that khusnul khotimah will have his sins forgiven and his deeds accepted," he said.
It was previously reported that Menpan RB Tjahjo Kumolo died at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday afternoon, at 11.10 WIB, after undergoing intensive treatment at the hospital since mid-June.
Secretary of Menpan RB Rini Widyantini confirmed the sad news via a short message.
"The Minister (Tjahjo Kumolo) has been summoned by Allah SWT today at 11.10 WIB. We ask for prayers from you and your colleagues, may he be accepted by His side," said Rini.
