Prada Beryl's Body, Victim Of The KKB Shooting Evacuated To Jayapura
JAYAPURA - The body of Prada Beryl Kholif Al Rahman, a member of the Battalion 431/SSP Task Force, a victim of the shooting by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Kiwirok, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua, was evacuated to Sentani, Jayapura using a Caracal helicopter belonging to the Indonesian Air Force.
Arriving at the Silas Papare Sentani Air Force Base Ops at around 14.27 WIT, the bodies were immediately taken to Marthen Indey RST.
Kapendam XVII Cenderawasih Lt. Col. TNI (Kav) Herman Taryaman said the evacuation went smoothly without any disturbance.
Prada Beryl Kholif Al Rohman's body is scheduled to be flown to Surabaya on Friday (1/7) using a Batik Air plane, and then on arrival to his hometown in Kediri, East Java for burial.
The late Prada Beryl died in a shootout with KKB in Kiwirok, Wednesday (29/6), due to a gunshot wound to the thigh that caused the victim to bleed out, said Lieutenant Colonel Kav Herman.
Previously, on January 17, a Brimob member who was part of the Nemangkawi Task Force, namely Bharatu Bachtiar, was injured during a shootout with the KKB.
On 22 January, Bharada Resi Nugroho was also killed in a shootout with KKB in Kiwirok.
