PP Satpol Closes Palembang Holywings Outlet
PALEMBANG - The Palembang City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) closed the Holywings bar and restaurant outlet on Jalan R Soekamto, Ilir Timur II District, Palembang, South Sumatra.
The closure was carried out because the management of Holywings Palembang violated several regional regulations.
According to the Head of Public Order and Public Order at the Palembang City Satpol PP, CP Besi, this rule is contained in the Palembang City Regulation Number 44 of 2002 Junto Regional Regulation Number 13 of 2007 concerning amendments to the Palembang City Regulation Number 44 of 2002 concerning public order and peace.
Furthermore, it violates Perda number 4 of 2020 on the Implementation of Tourism and Regional Regulation number 19 of 2011 concerning development in the industrial and trading fields.
"However, this closure is only temporary," he said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 29.
CP Besi explained that Holywings Palembang could resume operations after the management resolved issues related to the verification of the Alcoholic Drinks Trading Business License (SIUP-MB) class BC.
Given the results of the investigation by Satpol PP personnel, it was found that Holywings Palembang has complete SIUP-MB class BC but has not been verified by the South Sumatra Provincial Government.
"There is a license for alcoholic drinks for class B - C and it is complete. But it has not been verified in South Sumatra Province, but has only been issued by the central government," he said.
The closing of the Holywings outlet was carried out by the Palembang City Satpol PP by attaching a sticker that reads "This building / place of business is closed) at the entrance of the outlet.
The installation of the closing sticker was also witnessed by hundreds of hundreds of people who are members of the Anti-Immorality Community Alliance (Amanah).
At the same time, the crowd, which was commanded by Habib Mahdi Muhammad Syahab, held a peaceful demonstration to protest the promotional efforts carried out by the Holywings Group containing ethnic, religious, racial and inter-group (SARA) content.
"Holywings' operations should be completely stopped. They have committed acts of blasphemy by insulting the Prophet Muhammad SAW (in their promotion). Such a business is not healthy, so we will continue to monitor it to realize a complete Darussalam Golden Palembang," said Habib Mahdi.
Meanwhile, the Manager of Holywings Palembang, Joko, apologized to the entire community, especially in the city of Palembang, regarding the promo that was rejected.
Even though Holywings Palembang did not implement a promo that offended many people, the management will comply with the regulations given to them by temporarily closing the outlet.
"This closure is an accountability for the viral promotion that has been assigned to the 6 suspects and there are licensing requirements that we must complete. We apologize to the public," he said, reading a statement in front of hundreds of peaceful protesters.
