31,227 Pilgrims Left, 68.74 Indonesian Hajj Pilgrims Have Arrived In Mecca

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Hajj Affairs Office (KUH) recorded that as many as 68,774 prospective pilgrims had arrived in Saudi Arabia as of Saturday, June 25, evening. The regular hajj pilgrims are an accumulation of the first batch of pilgrims who landed in Medina and the second batch of pilgrims who landed in Jeddah.

As reported by Antara, Sunday, June 26, of the 68,774 pilgrims who arrived in Saudi Arabia, 61,178 pilgrims have arrived in Mecca, consisting of 38,348 from Medina and 22,830 from Jeddah.

This number shows that of the Indonesian hajj quota of 100,051 people, more than half or around 68.74 percent have left the country. This means that Indonesia will still dispatch 31,227 congregations.

The last batch of pilgrims from Medina departed for Mecca on 27 June 2022 based on the Hajj Travel Plan (RPH) Year 1443H/2022M.

Meanwhile, the departure of the second-last batch of pilgrims from the country to Jeddah is scheduled for July 3, 2022.

On July 7, the congregation will depart from Mecca to Arafah to carry out the peak of Hajj or Wukuf in Arafah on 9 Dzulhijjah or to coincide with July 8, 2022.
